11.8 – NCO: Shake Bar

Responsible:  NCO Owner, NCO Lead Operations, Cafe Lead

  • The Edge’s Café Manager will place product and equipment order 3 weeks prior to club opening with Shake Company.
    • Three blenders
    • Acrylics (6)
    • Ice scoops and dispensers
    • All meal replacement and whey
    • All flavor squirts
    • All juice concentrates
  • The Edge’s Café Manager will place purveyor order one week out from club opening. (Exhibit: NCO Budget and Purchasing List)
    • Frozen fruit
    • Cookies and dry goods
  • The Edge’s Café Manager will work facilities to ensure all equipment needed is there two weeks prior to opening and proper storage shelving is planned.
  • The Edge’s Café Manager will set up the shake bar three days before the new club opening.
  • Two days prior to opening, all staff should review and train on proper shake making techniques as well as go through the shake safety tips.
  • Café Manager will identify an in-club inventory manager (likely one of the Fitness Consultants) two weeks before club opening, and train the person on inventory procedures.

Protein Bars and Drinks

  • One month prior to opening, coolers must be ordered from our preferred vendors.
  • Coolers should be delivered one week prior to club opening, as long as flooring is completed.
  • Product should be ordered two weeks prior to club opening, and initial inventory sheets build.
  • Product should be delivered one week prior to club opening.
  • Coolers should be stocked three days prior to the new club opening.
  • Protein bars should be displayed two days prior to the new club opening.
