6.15 – Pilates

Created by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s, Pilates has been used by professional athletes and dancers for decades. The exercises focus on the core and initiate from the abdominals, back and buttocks, working their way out to the arms and legs. The precision in which the exercises are done develop long, lean muscles and a completely balanced body.

Pilates also focuses on the spine, hips, shoulders and knees, safely working them to their fullest range of motion. Ultimately, the person feels strengthened, lengthened and energized.
