8.3.1 – Daily Facilities Walkthrough

Each day it is your responsibility to ensure that facility walkthroughs occur. These daily checklists ensure the outside lot is presentable, our studios, cage, and turf areas are proper and organized, and that the daycare is clean and safe.

There is a Facility Scoreboard (QSCR) that you use to evaluate the club. It is broken out by sections and divided into categories. Each list item can receive a high score of 2. A rating of 0 means it is not up to our standards. Refer to the checklist when performing your daily check.

Outside Lot

The outside parking lot is to be clear of snow, ice, and debris. Ensure it is in safe condition. The front doors need to be operational, and the front windows clean. This is a task that should be monitored frequently, especially in incremental weather. It is the GM/Manager on Duty’s responsibility to reach out to the Facilities team to communicate and coordinate any concerns.

Front Entrance

The front entrance rugs need to be clean, vacuumed, and flat. All areas including the front desk, foyer, and displays must be clean of dust. The Shake Bar should be organized and clean and the coolers stocked at all times. Trainer Bios and Group Exercise schedule should be posted in their designated location.

Studios

The studio equipment needs to be clean and fully functioning. Any supplies that are missing or broken need to be replaced. Room should be organized and cleaning solution and trash cans available. Hourly floor checks should monitor:

  • Door cleanliness and free of tape

  • Garbage is emptied
  • Stereo is working

  • Weighted bars, attachments, and steps organized
  • All clocks are working and correct time
  • All light fixtures are operational and turned on
